General Manager/Chief Operating Officer Appointment

DNI Properties, Inc. has announced the appointment of Roger Kinney as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, effective February 12, 2007. Kinney will assume his duties in this new position at the Gardner Companies Headquarters Building, the Colonnade, in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

 DNI was founded by Gardner in 1981, following his 5 year term as Vice President of Vitek Systems, Inc, a subsidiary of McDonnell Douglas. Vitek became the global leader in automated microbiology. 

 DNI Properties provides Community management services to condominium and home owner associations in Missouri, Illinois and throughout the mid-western region. Communities range in size from 10 to 6000 homes and include conventional condominiums, home owner associations, planned unit developments, and villas. The total value of assets managed by DNI under current contracts exceeds $3 Billion. 

 With strategic growth planned Gardner cited the need for an experienced senior executive with broad general management, IT, and marketing skills to direct this exceptional opportunity. “Roger Kinney clearly meets our needs” Gardner stated.  

 Kinney obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri.  After graduation he served as general property manager for Lock Lake Communities, a 1500 acre four-season community located in New Hampshire.

 Kinney’s corporate career includes extensive experience in operational management, sales and marketing, brand development and management, promotions, and new product introductions. Kinney has held positions with Pepsi-Cola General Bottlers-International as General Manager of their Eastern Europe operations, with Coca-Cola USA and Coca-Cola Enterprises.

 In 2001 Roger founded the St. Louis consulting firm The Biz Group LLC, d/b/a Biz-XLä.  This firm has completed substantial consulting services for local and national companies who were focused on capitalizing on a vision of profitable growth. Kinney’s appointment followed a 6 month search by Gardner Companies corporate HR recruiting division located in Austin, TX.
